E Bays giftcard scam
E bay is involved in the gift card scam. Who do they report to, who keeps them in check. I recently had to put a freeze on 5 $200 ebay giftcards when I did all cards had a $200 balance which was acknowlaged by an ebay agent. 3 days later there was still a$200 balance at which time the agent told me all I needed to do is submit proof that I purchased the cards and then the money would be applied to my accont. I uploaded the proof that day. 2 days later I get a message that an investigation was done and there is no balance on any card and that concludes the investigation and I can not appeal. Not only that I can not ask any question concerning the so called investigation. The money was on the cards up until the investigation started. Are the results of all investigations reported to ftc and local law enforcment? It seems to me this is an in house crime. Do you listen to recorded phone calls before you close an investigation.It is just wrong that they can steal and there is nothing that can be done they withold all info to put a stop to the scam. Maybe because they are the scam.
