E-Bay sale with USPS seller paid insurance. Buyer requested return label for damaged item.
Item reported by buyer as damaged 30 days after receipt. Seller insured the package and requested buyer verify damage so I can successfully file for the insurance claim. Buyer agrees to USPS verification but doesn't provide a response to seller. Gemini tells me if I approve a label without proof of damage the USPS insurance won't be paid. e-Bay has been uncooperative and they withhold my funds and pay the buyer next week. This is the first time I have attempted to file a claim in more than 11 years.
