e basy ripped me off
I have filled out, and filed, a criminal fraud report with the United States Postal Investigator's Service for this problem. They will be opening and investigating a case and this is considered a Federal crime. ebay order 061135415263. I am very sorry for this trouble. All I wanted were some misprint pens. As far as e-bay is concerned I am gathering the addresses of the Board of Directors and each member of the board will receive an information package through e-bay and also at their homes. I am having the detective bureau that peforms background checks for our hiring of new employees research the home addresses of the board members. He will find them. There is no way I let this go until I am made whole and apologized too.
I paid 339 dollars for 3000 misprint pens. I received nothing. I am feel ripped off. wouldn't you?

Mentor2 years agoHi @eric_schil
Did you file an ‘Item not received’ claim from your Purchase History within 30 days of the Estimated Delivery Date?
I’ve always had an easy time getting refunded after following the guidelines in eBay’s Money Back Guarantee.
If you explain what happened to thwart your getting refunded … we may be able to suggest options to the heroic measures you’re taking to fix what usually is a simple problem.

OP2 years agoyeah. they say the post office delivered.
three large heavy boxes each with 1000 misprint pens which we have ordered many times did not get delivered. I know. Im here every day.
an employee here went to the post office the postman had taken a picture of the delivery. it was an empty house lot with a small envelope on the ground about 15 blocks from the actual delivery address. the post office refused to share the photo. I'm going through the postal inspectors. we'll see how that goes.
I may have to find a way to take e-bay to small claims claims court. Anybody ever done that before. Hiring a lawyer..... not keen on that. spend thousands to possibly recover hundreds? I'd call that dumb if anybody but me did it.
I have lots else to do and don't want any of this headache but I refuse to take this beating without a first class fight.
regards.
e
thanks for the support.

OP2 years agohere's the boilerplate the postal inspectors replied with. I'd be happy if the postal system would just turn over the photo they have of what they say is a delivery of an envelope to a vacant lot. I would feel pretty good about my chances in small claims court holding that. right? Now I do have high blood pressure so if this thing strokes me "OUT" I'll tell my wife to hire the lawyer and go get 'em.

Mentor2 years agoThanks for the additional information @eric_schil. 🙂
There is something I recommend you do before calling in the cavalry:
Ask your post office to check whether your name and address were on the package with the tracking number you were given.
If they were not … then ask your postmaster to provide a statement to that effect. [You will have to pick it up from the PO.]
[Once you have the statement … you should be able to get refunded easily by your credit card company.]
Please post back and tell us what progress you make. I’ve had a similar problem … more than ove actually … and got my refund. Good luck!

Adding one more comment to round out the advice. This is called the "tracking number scam". Most carrier services are aware of this scam. Disputes are won automatically when tracking shows a zip code that is not the same as the buyer's, but proof becomes more difficult when delivery actually matches the intended zip code.
As @house*of*paws has already instructed:

Have you checked whether buyers have left feedback for that seller. If others were scammed, and it appears on the feedback, customer service will have more ammo to move against the seller.

Mentor2 years agoI respect that you are upset and I certainly don't blame you. But I'd like to try and re-direct that frustration in another direction that is likely to benefit you the most.
Gather the evidence you need to prove your case. Get an email from USPS or go to the PO and get copies of the full tracking on the package, pictures of the package [as they do take them along their processing of the package] and the pic you spoke of at the delivery address.
You need all this no matter which direction you go with this, but there is a much easier path than going to court or threatening to go after Ebay employees and/or board members.
Once you have all the evidence you can get, then you appeal the INR, present your evidence and go from there. This is the easiest and quickest path to take.
If you are unsuccessful in gathering the evidence, then I'm sorry, without it you can't win the appeal on an INR much less a court case.
On each Ebay page there is a link to contact Customer Service at the top of the page and again at the bottom of the page.
I would suggest that you contact Ebay for Business on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter for the better trained CSRs.
Here are your options for contacting Ebay Customer Service. Please be aware that for social media CS, you send them a Private Message and briefly explain what your problem or issue is. Feel free to leave your Name, address, phone number and/or your email address in this message. It is private and secure and it may help to speed up the response for you.

Your options will be on the left. If you use the link below you can only get to the Automated Assistant or Chat box type AGENT in the box and hit enter. You will then get more options. Not all options are available 24/7. It will depend on staffing available. So sometimes you can request a call back and sometimes you can't. Sometimes you have the Chat option available and other times it won't me. If it is important to you to use one of those options, just try back later.
If you use a cell phone or other mobile device, you may need to turn off your Spam filter so that Ebay can call you.
If you are a seller outside of the US or Canada, you will need to use the Chat Option.
