Duty Fees and Tarrifs
FROM A POTENTIAL CUSTOMER:
"Hi there, I would like to accept your offer on this game but I had a quick question about shipping to Canada. With some sellers the item comes across the border duty free but with others I sometimes get hit with over $30 in duty/tax/handling charges. Does this have to do with the method of shipping used? And do you know if this item would get charged those fess or if it would just cost me the item price + shipping that is quoted? Any info appreciated. Thanks! Brad."

Canadian customs will add the appropriate import tax if the item exceeds the tax-free limit, which has been $40. Given the current tariff wars, I would tell the buyer honestly that you have no way of knowing if there would be extra charges.
The large tax plus handling fee should only happen with an item is sent ups or fedex - they charge a brokerage fee for bringing the item through customs. If you are using the eBay international shipping program, all handling fees should be included in the shipping cost charged to the buyer at checkout.
