Duplicate sale
I sold an item last week, received payment, and shipped the item.
For some reason, I received another offer for same item on Monday, which I had just mailed to the buyer so I don't have it any more. I sent a message to the 2nd buyer, "do not pay, item not available any more' but they just paid this morning. I didn't have this listed twice- why didn't it remove the item once it sold the first time?
How did this happen?

Mentor2 years agoIt looks like you had 2 listings for that brooch. One sold on April 18 and the other sold on April 23. They each had separate item numbers. The first one was listed on 11 Apr 2024 at 6:19:10pm PDT and the second one was listed 16 Apr 2024 at 4:58:11am PDT.
You will have to go to Seller Hub > Orders > Awaiting shipment
Click the down arrow, select Cancel order, select Out of Stock, submit. ebay will refund the buyer out of your funds, and then reimburse you when the payment clears.
