Drop Shipping stores
The problem with these drop shipping storefronts on eBay is the Customs. One only finds out that it's a drop shipping company after the delivery date passes and you complain to the seller. It's only then will the seller tell you some sad story that their container is still on a ship and should pass customs in another week.
This is **bleep**! I don't know how many of these stores plan to stay in business is customers get a refund for an '...item not recieved' due to customs.

In looking at your profile I see that you have bought from Japan and China registered sellers. The ones from Japan may be having shipping delays because of the tariff situation and so might the China based ones.
However, the chinese are the ones who give U.S. locations but end up drop shipping from abroad, and because some of them are registered in the U.S. it can be hard to weed them out. If you click on the link below and when it opens click on the Go To Best Answer button you will see what I posted about identifying chinese sellers by their listings and profiles. so you can avoid them.

OP1 year agoYes! In the past, prior to tariffs, I sought out fishing equipment from China and Japan. I knew the factory eBay storefronts was in China, Taiwan or Japan. That's different than stores advertising products are IN the US knowing their warehouse is in Asia. It's a massive inconvenience.
