Drop shipping
Bought an item from Casper Wyoming. It was dropped shipped to my house from the amazon warehouse 15 miles from away from my house 2 days later. Asked for refund and seller refused. Contacted eBay AI and they informed me no refund and the case is closed with no appeal. No way to contact eBay to talk to anyone about this. What is happening to eBay? Is this a common thing now?

A refund for what? You said you received the item, and obviously the cost was agreeable to you, evidenced by the fact that you made the purchase. What is your complaint about?

OP5 months agoClearly a drop shipment. I bought an auction from a certain seller in a certain state. That used to mean something on this platform. It clearly does not anymore. It seems like money has taken a higher priority.

Mentor5 months agoSome sellers sell on both ebay and Amazon and store their inventory at Amazon warehouses. When an item sells on ebay, it is shipped out from Amazon. That is perfectly ok with both platforms. What is NOT okay is listing an item on ebay, and when it sells, the seller purchases the item from Amazon and has it shipped to the buyer. You will be able to know this is the case if there is a Guest receipt in the package. That can be reported to both ebay and Amazon.

OP5 months agoNo option on drop shipping so I I opened the case as a changed my mind. Poorly written page, should be more options.
