Drop in sales and bidding
Have any of your sellers noticed s steep drop off of sales and bidding in the last month or so? What's going on or is this normal in the summer?

Most sellers experience a slowdown from April to/through September (depending on the types of items they are selling). The horrible economy just makes it even worse.

OP2 years agoThank you so much for your answer. I am selling my vintage collections and each week I see a smaller number of WATCHERS and BIDDERS. I think I will stop adding new listings through the summer months. Thanks again, buttonquilt

That's your decision, but unless you just want to take a break or travel, etc., I always wonder why a seller would give up the sales they would have over a 6 month period just because those sales are lower than during other months. It's what you sell for the year that's meaningful, not what you sell on a given day, week, or month out of many.
