Double listing
I mistakenly listed an item twice. The first listing sold in November and the second today. I printed out a mailing label and prepared to ship the item and couldn't find it. After researching my ebay listings I saw it was listed twice. The item is already paid for and a shipping label printed. What can I do to make this right?

First cancel your label:
Here's how to cancel (or void) an unused shipping label you purchased on eBay:
- Go to Manage shipping labels: https://www.ebay.com/ship/lmng/labels-history/my-ebay
- Find the item you'd like to cancel the shipping label for, then from the Actions column, select CANCEL.
- Choose your reason for canceling the label.
- Select Cancel shipping label.
You have 28 days to cancel a label. The refund will come about 21 days after you cancel.

Then Cancel the sale which will refund the buyer

The reason is "out of stock"
Do a complete inventory to make sure you have every other item that is listed.
TIP: If you have been ending and relisting items, consider doing your relists 1 at a time instead of in bulk.
Optional:
If you want to report the item being relisted as a 'ghost relisting' you can do it this way.
You should report this to eBay as they have been trying to track this down for a long time but need data to do so.
Note down the Item ID of the ghost listing.
Also record the Item ID of the original listing.
Utilize the feedback form located within the “Advanced Listing Tool†(pictured below), and include the following information:
1) Both Item IDs as mentioned earlier.
2) Include the phrase “ghost listing†in your feedback to help identify the issue to the right team.
3) Provide as much detail as possible about the listing and timeline to aid the investigation.
