Double GST
Hi, i purchased an item and was shipped to Singapore. However, upon arrival, SingPost has requested that I pay GST again before releasing the parcel. When I presented the eBay invoice showing “GST (eBay collected),” they informed me that they could not verify or recognize this GST payment in the shipment declaration.
It appears that the GST collected by eBay may not have been properly declared or transmitted with the shipping documentation, resulting in duplicate taxation.
Any advice on this is appreciated. Thanks.
