Double charged for shipping how do I get my money back as a seller?
Hey so I sold two separate items to the same buyer. I got the shipments ready by doing two labels. Buyer reached out to request that both be done under one label so not paying twice. I couldn’t figure out how to do this and refund the buyer so I just cancelled both orders. As I had clicked two labels this took the funds for those labels out twice from my eBay funds, once per label. I clicked cancel the labels for each in my effort to try and get everything down to one new label but couldn’t figure it out. I have not seen a refund come through from this to my eBay funds and it’s been about 4 days or so.
As I couldn’t figure it out I decided to just cancel both orders to be fair to the buyer. To this end it refunded the buyer both the item price and the shipping fee they paid for both items.
So I’ve essentially paid the price of the shipping labels twice and can’t figure out if there is a way for me to get that money back as it was taken by eBay out of my bank account since the eBay funds were overdrawn. The shipping labels were paid and auto detected by my eBay funds when I clicked/printed the two labels. Then I also automatically paid the buyer back from my eBay funds including the shipping labels for each item. Thus overdrew my eBay funds and had to come from my bank. How can I resolve this and get my money back?

Mentor11 months agoVoided labels take up to 21 days to credit, check on them here:
https://www.ebay.com/lbr/labels-history/seller-hub
Next time you can just select both items in the shipping hub, which will print a single label for both.
