Don't understand Payout, Contacted Customer Service they are not helpful
Hello eBay community.
I am looking for someone to help me understand how the payouts work. Let me explain my issue: I am a new on eBay, and in first 15 days I made 4 sales. First item NET proceeds were $11.32, and the 2nd one NET proceeds were $46.83 So the total is $58.15 and first item was free shipping so - $5.68 = $52.47 and I only got $25.47 payment transferred into my bank account.

You are probably seeing the shipping for sales 3 & 4 deducted from your payout - shipping is always paid from available funds.

I was under impression when you have successful sale, meaning customer received the item that the money buyer paid should be deposited to your bank automatically in two to three business days. That is not a case here. eBay is holding money under some "available money account" on which I have no control over. Ok, let's continue explaining: So, for those first 2 items I only received $25.47 and the next item, the third item was free shipping and buyer decide to return saying that item is defective, and wasn't, so I understand I eat back and forth shipping cost total of $9.70 so to continue from the last available amount of $52.47 we deduct $9.70 = $42.77 My fourth item shipping cost was $5.20 so we deduct that from $42.77 = $37.57 and I only got $25.47
Money for third item is refunded, Money for the fourth item is on eBay hold because the buyer is traying to extort $15 from me because the buyer is not satisfied by condition of the used item, even I posted a bunch of pictures and described the item condition, the case with him is not settled yet. And TWO new salles landed and eBay pull out shipping label cost from my bank.
So, since the opening a store, I only received $25.47 and eBay took back $3.59
This is today's my financial summary: $146.79 Sales (90d)

Selling costs (Includes shipping) $77.62
Net sales (Net of taxes and selling costs) $61.63

I mean I just like to know why I am unable to email customer support with snapshot images se they can explain to me like a 5-year-old kid what system / formula are using when sending payments.
I have huge inventory waiting to be posted, but this confusion is making me guessing future relationship with eBay.

OP4 months agoAnd why I'm not reimbursed for the shipping labels because the buyer is the one who already pays for them? Why charge me for something that is already paid for by buyer?

The buyer pays you for the shipping in your listing. You then buy the label.
So the shipping paid by the buyer is part of the held money in your payment account.

OP4 months agoYes, that is what should be, but in my case is not.
The money $3.59 that eBay took out from my bank account was for the shipping label for the sixth item I sold and buyer paid for.
I posted my issue here hoping someone from customer service would look into my account and see what is going on. I understand how thigs should work, but here is something wrong and needs to be addressed.
I deleted over 60 items and now I'm just waiting for the end of all transactions so I can cancel my account.
This become hectic environment for me I don't have time to chase my money around.

Try clicking on the buyer’s payment in your payment account. You will see that the shipping is included in their payment. Sometimes the fees that are deducted make it look like the shipping is not there.
eBay is very good at keeping track of money for all of us. I doubt that they made a mistake here.
