Don’t ever enter your bank info on eBay
Don’t add a payment method cause it’ll never be deleted. Trust me, it’ll save u a hassle .
The fact you can forget a decimal point and eBay says they can’t and won’t retract the bid is disgusting. I’ll never use eBay again, it’s not worth the hassle. I had to cancel checking and report all payments options as lost to avoid paying way more than what I wanted.
If you ever win an auction and are forced to pay. Just say the item was lost in the mail or return it. It’ll create more problems for the seller than yourself.

Mentor4 months agoIf you make a typographical error, you can retract your bid and bid again with the correct amount.
(except in the trading card category, whereby retractions are not allowed). When you place a bid, you are able to view the bid amount before you submit it to avoid any unpleasant mistakes.
If you say the item is lost, the seller can prove via tracking that the item was delivered.
If you file a return request, you would need a valid reason per the Ebay Money Back Guarantee.
