dont buy from warrenau250 bought a 150cc engine for my son's dirt bike
When I bought it seller said it was under warranty himself lied to me motor didn't last blew up before first oil change eBay continues to let the get away with lying to their customers

What kind of warranty did the seller promise -was it spelled out in the listing?
How long did you have it before it failed - with eBay you have a Money Back Guarantee for 30 days after delivery.
Or with PayPal or credit card companies, some have up to 6 months after payment to file a claim.

OP9 months agoI bought this on July 2025 my son he rides it sometimes on the weekends supervised Pistons bent inside engine motor has about 70 miles on it seller specifically asked me not to leave a negative comment without talking to them first, or get a warranty through eBay assured me it was warrantied through him because I was going to buy a Allstate warranty for it I used cash app to purchase I told him the motor blew up and could I have the specific details of the warranty he never mentioned the specific details that it was warrantied through him when bought never mentioned the length or anything then ghosted me and blocked I already bought another engine for it and fixed it I will never do business with him again

I see - too late for anything.
Cash app isn't even an authorized payment method on eBay, so eBay would not have been able to help.
