Done Buying Anything Shipped Via USPS
December 7, I received a box that was tampered with, and weighed less than 2 lbs. The laptop I ordered on eBay has been stolen by USPS personnel. This is my fourth incident, and second theft with the USPS. I'v always been an active buyer, but because of the poor service from my local post office, I have no choice. Service may be good at other post offices, but mine is far below substandard.

Mentor2 years ago@ol-aaco-dl6zipzku Sorry to hear that. I recommend you reach out to your post master about this happening. Unless it's reported they can't stop the problem.
Also be sure to ask a seller about changing shipping methods before buying.

OP2 years agoThis has been an ongoing problem with my USPS office. November 3, 2022, the carrier scanned the package as delivered in/at mailbox. My paper mail was in the box, but not the package. I called the post office, and the carrier was sent back to put the package in my mailbox. March 2, 2023, the carrier scanned the package as delivered in/at mailbox, but didn't put it in again. The carrier was sent back to deliver the package, but the carrier left my package on top of the mailboxes to be stolen. May 2, 2023, the package was scanned as delivered, but not put in my mailbox. I filed a missing package with the Postal Inspector, but nothing was ever done. On December 7, the laptop theft came to light. I've filed a theft case with the Postal Inspector's office once again. If you look up the USPS post office in Fontana, CA, and check the reviews on google, the 90% of the reviews are one star! The extra step I've taken this time is to contact 5 major news agencies, under their "News Tips" page, and send put this information out to get this problem in the news. I did this to attempt to protect the packages for the Christmas season, and also the ballots for the 2024 presidential elections. I spent a number of years in Public Affairs as an Army soldier in California, so I do have contacts.
