Donating sales to charity
Hello and thank you in advance for any information that I may receive from those who read it. I am selling some items that I am donating proceeds to some charities and I am curious as to if I should put that in the title of the listing? I know that eBay has a ribbon on the listing and but what if shoppers aren’t aware of the meaning for the ribbon. I guess what I’m asking you all that list items as such is does look tacky or in bad lighting to put “donating proceeds of sales to such and such charity Again thank you for any and all helpful information.
thank you,
Fanno

Mentor2 years agoI would not use any space in the title or pay for a subtitle to add wording about the item supporting charity. Use your title space for keywords that buyers search on. Getting your item sold is the best way to support your charity.
Buyers that shop to support a specific charity know how to find supporting items. I do add a line in my descriptions that repeat the donation, just in case they missed it - you have lots of space to use there 🙂
