Mentor2 years ago@anhar-5555 Make sure you use LOTS of large bubble wrap and layer of cardboard between the dishes and lots of real foam peanuts. The heavier the box the more likely the weight will make the items break.
You need to feel safe throwing the box at least 4 feet and having another heavy box land on it.
What I have done if I don't feel the items can ship safely together is give the buyer a courtesy discount for buying more than one item. That of course is up to you. I usually would do a 5% discount on the order total and explain how why the items have to ship separately.
To answer your question. 🙂 Here's how to combine shipping.
#1 If the buyer has not paid yet here's how to send a combined shipping invoice:
Go to your sold listings on a PC and select send invoice from next to one item. The next page will then have all of the items from your buyer. Weigh and measure the new package and then adjust the shipping price. You can look up the shipping price here: https://www.ebay.com/shp/Calculator
Send invoice: https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/getting-paid/sending-invoices-buyers?id=4139&st=
#2 If the buyer has already paid then you can send a partial refund for the shipping overcharge:
Go to the sold item and select Send Refund from the drop down menu next to the item.
Next screen select the reason for the refund> enter the amount> submit
#3 Also, when you print the shipping label it's VERY important to select all items and then select print label from the top of the list if the buyer did not pay from an invoice. Then on the next screen it will ask if you want to combine orders, say yes then adjust the package size and weight as needed. This way the tracking is applied to all items.
# 4 I suggest you allow combined shipping in your account settings so that in the future buyers can request an invoice from their cart:
