Dollars instead of Sterling

Question

Hi I am trying to list some items but eBay is wanting to do it in dollars. I am in the UK and always have been and cannot find a way to change it. Can anyone help please ? Thanks S

You are presently on ebay.com, the primarily US site. Listings set up here will be in USD (with no adjustment to the digits you typed in to account for the different exchange rates--so less than you think they will be) and "Domestic shipping" will be for the US only with you having to set up international shipping to sell to someone with a UK address.

You need to be on ebay.co.uk to set up a listing in GBP (with local posting or whatever it is called over there to UK addresses). Keep an eye on your address bar (especially when you are asked to login) to stay over there since there are links there that direct over here and you might not notice the change until you go to do something that will cost you money.
