OP3 years agoI didn't realize that shipping was a part of my income!

·3 years agoShipping that the buyer pays YOU is your income. Shipping that you pay the carrier is an expense.

OP3 years agoSo, if I pay paypal for a shipping label, wouldn't this come out even?

·3 years agoThe shipping doesn't always "come out even". The buyer pays you the shipping cost the USPS states while you might get a discount from the USPS.
In additioon, you pay eBay the Final Value fee on the item price, the shipping charged to the buyer and the cost of managging the sales tax that eBay handled for the buyer's State.
