Does this sound fishy to anyone else?
Hi, so I purchased a Nintendo 3DS XL Galaxy Edition from someone located in Sarasota, Florida. Well that day it was after the post office was closed. So the next day the person told me that they would try to ship it that day, and if not then definitely the next day. Well that day rolls around, and they waited until about 6 or later to let me know that they couldn’t get it done because the post office was closed for renovations, and the next closest one was an hour away….but they were gonna drive out the following day to send it. Well this was yesterday, and I looked up post offices in Sarasota, Florida, and there are 3 right around each other in the same city. Just a few blocks from each other if that. So when I brought this up to them and asked why they didn’t just go to the next one down the block, they told me that they had work in 30 mins or they would’ve. So I caught them in a lie about having to go to a post office an hour away? I’m not sure what they’re not being 100% honest about but I just don’t know what to do and when I asked for a refund because it all sounded fishy, they started asking why, that they’d already bought the shipping label, but hadn’t had it printed yet because they don’t have a printer for the label, so they were gonna get it done tomorrow, which would be today March 2nd. I just don’t know what I should do.
