does the photos for an item need to match the item that is shipped?
wildcats46 showed photos of one helmet, then shipped a different helmet, is that within Ebay rules?

You are entitled to a full refund of the item ... with the seller paying the return shipping. I'm afraid you're not entitled to inflict further punishment on the seller for something that might have been a mistake.

Mentor2 years agoNo seller wants to have to pay shipping both ways just to get the item back and give a refund to the buyer.

Mentor2 years agoNo. The item you received needs to match the photo(s) on the listing.
The easiest way is to go to your Purchase history, locate the item. Click on RETURN THIS ITEM because it is Not as Described. You will need to click on MORE to see that option. The seller will need to provide a prepaid shipping label for its return. You print out the label, affix it to the box, and have the counter clerk scan the label. When tracking shows DELIVERED back to the seller, the seller needs to refund you within 2 days. If no refund, go back to the case and click Ask ebay to step in, to force the refund.

Mentor2 years agoIf an item does not match the picture or description you can return it at the seller's expense for a refund.

If the seller does not cooperate, after three business days, you can ask eBay to step in and refund you.
