Mentor3 years agoIf you shipped to the buyer using Priority or Express, then yes there is basic insurance of either $50. or $100.
The claim is made on the USPS website. Tell buyer to hold on to everything for possible inspection. Have buyer send photos to include with your claim. Be prepared for the initial claim to be denied, especially if no visible damage. You also will no prevail is you did not package the item properly.
If you do not want the item back or are filing a claim, you must still refund the buyer.
