Does loyalty mean anything to ebay
eBay’s chatbot just classified me as an “infrequent seller.†I’ve been selling for over 20 years, have 100% feedback, and about 30 active listings.
I’m not upset about the hold — I’m upset about being misclassified and treated like I’m disposable after decades of loyalty. It’s disappointing and honestly sad that loyalty means so little on this platform anymore.
Long-time sellers deserve better than this.

20 years and 412 items sold = 20.6 per year or just under 2 per month on average although in the last 90 days you have sold 14 items.
eBay has never told us what their formula is for determining what a low activity Selling account is that subsequently has the funds put on hold for 30 days. We know that dormant phases can cause it too but we have no account access here so can't see back beyond 90 days.
Sadly, eBay's computer systems that monitor account activity are impersonal so loyalty isn't in their equations.
Obviously, if you listed and sold more the holds would stop.
