Not sure what you're asking, but the Gift Card procedure on eBay has been upgraded. Maybe the information below can answer your question (be sure to click on the links):

If you have added the gift card to your account...

Balances of all eBay gift cards are visible on the eBay checkout page under the Gift cards and coupons section. You can also track your gift card balances in the Payments section in My eBay.

If you have not added the gift card to your account...

Click on this link: Add Gift card and enter the redemption code. Using your gift card at checkout will automatically link the card to your account. If there's a remaining balance the card will remain linked for easier use next time.

You can check the balance and add a new gift card to your account by using the Add Gift card page.
You can also track your gift card balances in the Payments section in My eBay.
Gift cards are linked to your account on the first use. Once you use it, your card cannot be used with another eBay account.
If you return an item you bought with an eBay gift card, the amount you used on the gift card will be refunded. You can then use the gift card redemption code again as long as you're using the same eBay account.
Your Gift Card does not expire.
No inactivity or service fees apply to the Gift Card.
