Does eBay still collect 10%
Does eBay still collect 10% of the sellers shipping charges to the customer?
Will eBay still take 10% away from seller for the actual shipping costs to customer?
So sellers are losing 10% right off the top, (only if you still take 10% of shipping charges.)
Please Advise. thank you.

OP2 years agookay, maybe i am asking this question wrong. So sellers pay eBay charges sellers 13.25% fee on the total amount the buyer pays, including any shipping or sales tax.
So with that fact established, do sellers still have to pay the 13.25% fee to eBay even if we select to go with our listings defaulting to eBay Labels discounted rates?
If that is the case, that means buyers get the true shipping charge and we still have to pay 13.25% of that to ebay so we are losing even more money. The way I have my shipping costs includes the 13.25% that ebay charges me so i don't lose out. I am just so confused. I wish someone from ebay will answer my question. I want to give buyers the best deal on shipping but i do not want to lose out money while doing so.

Mentor2 years agoeBay is not here; this is a user forum. If you want an answer from eBay, you will have to ask eBay directly.
eBay calculates the fee percentage on the total amount the buyer pays, regardless of how the seller actually arranges shipping. Calculated shipping, discounted shipping, flat shipping or free shipping: eBay takes the same percentage.
If that is the case, that means buyers get the true shipping charge and we still have to pay 13.25% of that to ebay
Yes, that is the case. No matter what, eBay gets 13.25% of whatever total the buyer pays.

When eBay stopped using PayPal and sellers stopped paying PayPal 2.9% it went up to 12.55%. Then later, both eBay and PayPal raised their fee percentages a bit higher.
