Does eBay show the seller my full credit card number if I'm not using PayPal?
I have found if I write a critical review of one of my purchases, my credit card is suddenly compromised. The three times that it has happened since the pandemic, my bank was immediatly cancelled the card and overnighted a new one. But this is an expense to them that we all end up paying for in interest rates, etc.
My question is; Does eBay reveal the full credit card number to the seller or is eBay an intermediary in the transaction?

Mentor1 year agoNo. Buyers pay eBay directly. eBay pays sellers in a separate transaction via ACH transfer to the seller's checking account. Buyer payment information is not shared with anyone.
