Does eBay pay the seller when buyer receives a damaged item that was shipped internationally?

Mentor4 months ago@conqu_kathi Yes if you shipped with the eBay International Shipping Program.
eBay refunds the buyer and you keep the $ from the sale.
NO if you shipped directly to the buyer using Priority Shipping or First Class International package. Then you have to refund the buyer and file a postal insurance claim. Although I am not sure how that would work with USPS since they want the item brought to the USPS post office by the buyer for inspection.
I see that you do offer direct shipping in addition to EIS. I strongly advise that you remove direct shipping, especially on these type of breakable items.
