does ebay not allow me to contact a seller with a question anymore before I buy an item?

I would like to buy an item but when I select contact seller to ask a questions about the measurements, it doesnt give an option to send a message to seller. In the past, I have done this so has ebay changed this?

If you are using the new messaging system, start typing where it says SEND MESSAGE. The area will enlarge as you type. When done typing, click on that "paper airplane" looking arrow on the right side to send the message.

Not all sellers allow messages, but most should. See if there is a "contact" link on the bottom of the page.
