Does eBay make micro deposits in your bank account to verify your account is correct, this sounds ,

·3 years agoYes, this is how eBay verifies that your account can accept ACH credits and debits; and, more importantly, that you are the owner who has access to that account (when you can verify the amount of those deposits). I just recently used this method for one of my selling accounts in order to get paid.
eBay sent a message to my email and displayed it on my account page, letting me know that the microdeposits were sent. The red message contained a link to "verify bank account".
That "verify bank account" link provided slots for entering the value of the two microdeposits (top left below). After I entered the values, eBay verified the checking account and I was all set to get paid. eBay sent confirmation to my email and to eBay Messages (bottom right below).

Mentor3 years agoYes, that is one of the methods that Managed Payments uses to make sure the checking account you listed is actually registered to you.
