·2 years agoIn most states with a sales tax, apply the tax to the entire transaction shipping included.

·2 years agoeBay applies the rules set by the laws and regulations of the state the item is being delivered to. Even those states where a separately stated shipping fee is generally not included often has exceptions for certain circumstances, which circumstances usually apply to eBay transactions (e.g. the fee can include handling fees, not just the carrier's fee).
