This is a common scam. The only place you can use an eBay gift card is on eBay. eBay has nothing to do with sales originating on any other site.

No this is a scam. You did not find the vehicle on eBay did you? Many scammers try to use the eBay name to gain your trust and say that the vehicle will go through eBay and it really does not. Just stop communicating with this person and I hope you did not give them any personal information.

@behof-48 NO! That's a scam. As it says at the checkout at many stores ONLY give gift cards to people you KNOW.

eBay has nothing to do with sales on other sites.
