Does anyone else miss easy and accessible customer service & seller support?
EBay seller and customer support used to be a quick message away, easily accessible to anyone. Most of all, they respected my time - send a message, get a reply, problem solved. Now it's gated behind a chat bot (it's not smart enough to be called an AI) and then it's only available by phone when you spend enough time having the chat bot take you around in circles.
I get that ebay saves a few pennies by making customer service so much harder to get, but how many customers are they losing because of it? Especially the people who could be buying from me but are put off by the lack of support.

You may be better off asking your question here to get suggestions from experienced users.
To contact eBay, use the chat assistant to request a call back by starting on the Help & Contact page and following the links for your issue.
What options you see may depend on your particular issue and how busy that department is at the moment.
Try entering "agent" into the chat window. You may have to provide some context to reach the correct department. If you see a "Still need help?" or "More options" choice, either of those should lead to a call back option.
If you are unable to get a call back, try contacting eBay via social media direct message:

Likely there is a trade-off at work: if eBay makes it easy for anyone to contact eBay, users with problems are put off by long wait times behind users tying up the phone lines with questions like "where is my money?" and "where is my package?"
