After going through the eBay process the seller wouldn't cancel even though they hadn't sent it and the seller wouldn't refund even though they haven't sent it I have no item and no refund how do I get my money back. They have had the days since 12th may to resolve but have ignored me

Sellers are not required to cancel just because a buyer requests it. Not every seller is a one-person operation able to stop a shipment once it has begun, particularly if the seller is drop-shipping.
If the seller neither cancels nor ships, the day after the last estimated delivery date file an "item not received" case, and then ask eBay to step in three business days later to force a refund.

OP4 months agoI did this they denied cancellation s my a message saying it will be despatched today it wasn't as shown on item and then I requested a refund waited the required days got a reply " I can't make refund"!
They said don't worry if you close the case and eBay don't get involved I will refund straight away. I closed a case they haven't refunded in two days now NO REFUND PENDING ETC. ON COMPANY'S HOUSE THEY ARE IN DEBT AND LOSING THEIR COMPANY BY THE LOOKS OF IT SO THEY ARE GETTING PEOPLE'S MONEY I SUGGEST FOR AN ITEM AND JUST KEEPING THE MONEY NOT SENDING THE ITEMS. The warriors because I've closed the case I can't get eBay I cannot contract them or get them involved in any way it appears???

OP4 months agoWhen they advertise and staying dispatch 48 hours Royal mail tracking and you buy on the 11th of May and it says we'll be delivered to 13th or 14th it wasn't even dispatched on the 15th. Not acceptable dodgy practices by this seller.

Never close a case you have opened unless you are satisfied with the outcome. Once closed you cannot reopen the case if the seller fails to refund you.
Since you have closed your case, eBay can not help you.
You may still have recourse through your payment method; many credit cards offer protection for items that are not received if you act within three or six months of the date of purchase. Contact your card issuer.
