Documenting item I've old has been collected
For the very first time, I've just listed an item for collection only when sold (an e-bike).
A soon as listing went live, I got a helpful email from eBay telling me about some steps I'll need to take when buyer arrives. I should open eBay app, navigate to the order details for this transaction and tap the "scan to confirm collection" button.
Well...where are the order details for the transaction?? Nothing I've tried takes me to any button I can tap to confirm collection🤔. Does it only show up after the item has been sold?
What's the best advice about asking for payment in this situation? Should buyer pay up front before they come to collect or do we sort that out on the spot while buyer is with me?
Sorry of these are dumb questions - haven't done things this way before. Thanks for any help!
