Do you have to measure the specific item or is it OK to just post the manufacturer's measurements?
Understanding variations that can occur. I purchased an item with posted measurements that were inaccurate. The seller admitted they did not measure the item, they just posted what was on the manufacturer's description. Needless to say, the item was a disappointment, but the seller asserts that is a common practice.
