Do NOT buy from foreign countries! Scammers! Some tips to avoid...
Just a reminder. Alway check the filter box labeled "US ONLY" for location during search & purchases. Occasionally, I accidently buy something located outside the US. It's always counterfiet. China, Pakistan, Kenya are three of the biggest scammers. Sometimes, the listing says "located in the US". This is not guaranteed. Some set up US based shipping, but the return is some other country. Combat this by thouroughly reading all feedback! Even one or two confirmed scams are too many. User name can also be a clue. ShangWanPoo is not a good user name (for example, not real user). Always use a credit card and not a debit card for best security / fraud prevention. Always follow EBay refund process exactly! It's a process, but you will get a 100% refund if you follow process exactly. Do not accept a 40% refund from a **bleep** seller. Press for 100% AND pre-paid return shipping label. ALWAYS get a tracking number from USPS. Scammers have been issuing fake USPS shipping labels. Finally, invest in a precious metal verifier electronic tester. I use Sigma Metalytics. Totally worth the price and peace of mind that my precious metal collection is 100% authentic and verified!
