Disputing whether buyer has received an item or not
I sold an item through eBay and mailed it via USPS (United States postal services) I never printed a label for the sale. I place the small item in a envelope and mailed it to the buyer. Then some time past and I got a message saying they never received the item. I informed the buyer that I had in fact mailed it and that it should arrive in a couple of days. So a few more days past and I receive 2 messages 1 for the buyer saying they never received the item and eBay wanting me to resolve the issue for the buyer for not receiving the item. So I was look on my account and had seen where that buyer left me positive feedback stating that the item was just as it was pictured and that it was going to make a nice addition to his or her collection. Now I have never sold this person anything else as I have only sold 6 items. Why would he or she leave that feedback and then claim to not have the item. Wouldnt that or couldn't that prove the dishonesty?

Mentor1 year agoUnfortunately since the buyer opened an "Item not received" case and you have no tracking information you will lose the case and be forced to make a full refund. eBay does not use the buyers feedback as proof of delivery since some sellers have forced buyers to leave feedback prior to shipping in the past.
