Disputes with buyer about items pictured.
Hi, I sm looking for advice on what can be done about a dispute a buyer has with one item I was selling, I had 3 pictures, the main pic has a 4 ft long torch and a hundred foot long hose, the other 2 photos just showed up close pics of torch, , in the description of the item for sale it only said Harris scrap torch, 4 foot long with 90° torch head. Said nothing about a 100 ft long hoses, and buyer wrote me before he purchased and asked about it and said nothing about the hose and if it was included. He also mentioned that he found another torch for sale but they wanted 200$ for it and since mine was a Harris that he went with my price of 120, these torches are worth round 5 or 600, and the hoses around 3 to 400. So the buyer filed a claim that the main reason was that item he purchased didn’t match the description or photos that was in add. The add clearly states Harris 4ft scrap cutting torch, with 90% tip. So the item does match the description and photos provided, learly in the photos I took the item has no damage, I bubble wrapped it and secured it in a box that I made, there’s no way it got the black sut rubbed off as he states and he also stated that that was the damage, even though there’s no way that could effect anything, and the fact that he made that “damage†just to send it back cause I didn’t include the hose. So he’s just looking for to get more for free. Witch I hope eBay will help me out with this but there’s no way to get in contact with then
