Dispute Results of USPS Automated Package Verification Charges
I mailed a book via eBay labels using Media Mail, yet later received an email saying $3.68 of additional postage costs were applied. I disputed the additional costs via "verifypostagehelp@usps.gov", and a week later received notice that my dispute was settled, but that I had to contact the "PC Postage Entity" to learn the results. When I contacted eBay, I was told to contact USPS, who then told me to contact eBay!!!
Based on the email wording below, from the Automated Package Verification folks, it appears eBay is the proper source to provide the results of my dispute, yet their customer service folks seem clueless, and just point me to the snippet shown below, which is from eBay's "Manage Shipping Labels" page.
Has anyone had experience with all this??? In 26 years of eBaying, this is a first!!!
