Dispute over refund after refund closed
How do I contact ebay to help past step in date. That day. Item was returned and listed as refunded so I thought it was. Turns out it was only partially refunded. 50%. When ebay sent the return closed I noticed it was only a partial refund. I asked seller for the rest of the refund and they said I damaged the item opening it.
I received item. Carefully opened it. The item is powered through a network cable connection. The connection was bad and the item kept restarting. The voltage reading was also inaccurate. I contacted seller immediately. They asked for pictures and videos and I immediately sent them. The item was then returned.
After asking the seller for a full refund, that's when the status changed to partial refund. There is nothing from seller that I damaged anything. How can I contact ebay to step in after they returned they closed it? Again, the seller didn't change the refund status till after ebay closed the return. Now seller told me to ask ebay to step in. Again, after it's too late. Please help me with this.
