Ebay advertises warranty coverage for 'Certified Open Box' items. Here is the actual warranty text:
The “Warranty Period” commences on the date of Product purchase by the consumer and ceases on the 2 year anniversary date of an eBay Refurbished Product in Certified – Refurbished condition and on the 1 year anniversary date of an eBay Refurbished Product in Excellent, Very Good or Good condition of such Product purchase (“Warranty Period”).
I see no mention of Open Box. as a covered item. Are purchasers being gaslighted? Or is there a different insuring third party I missed? This one is Allstate warranty services.
