Dishonest Return
I sold an article which the buyer indicated they wanted to wear for Easter. I shipped it within 24 hours. This buyer seems particularly fastidious about the condition of the article they are buying. I have a no return policy but to be accommodating I told the buyer that if they were unhappy with the item when they receive it, I will allow a return. Is there anything I can do to safeguard against this buyer receiving the item, wearing it for Easter and then after wearing it, saying they are dissatisfied and returning it? That would be dishonest and unethical. I want to be a cooperative and accommodating seller but I also don’t want to be taken advantage of. Any advice would be welcome.

Mentor5 months agoThere is always a chance that this will happen. Same thing happens every Super Bowl with TV sets. People buy the big screen TV's and then return them after the Super Bowl.
If the buyer claims the purchase is not as described then you have no choice but to accept the return and make a full refund. Since you have a No Returns policy this is how the buyer will get around it.
