Dishonest offer; no back-up support from eBay.

Question

I ordered 8 videos from a seller who had an offer that if I buy 8 videos, I would get 1 free. At checkout the offer never appeared. I tried to contact both the seller and eBay Customer service. I couldn't seem to contact the seller, nor could I get anything other than a worthless chatbot through eBay.

I'm NOT impressed.

If the Title or Description stated that offer it is not binding although they may still send you the extra one. If you paid you will have to wait to see what you receive.

You are protected by the eBay Money Back Guarantee for 30 days from the date of receipt: eBay Money Back Guarantee policy

Go to the item in your Purchase history and file a RETURN using the reason "Does not match pictures or description". eBay will issue you a pre-paid return shipping label regardless of the Seller's return policy. You return the item and the Seller will have 2 days to refund you. Failing that you go back to the claim and ask eBay to step in and force the refund.

Outside of the eBay MBG they will not do anything nor can they force the seller to honor an offer they have written in their listing.
