Dishonest buyer mabused return policy

Question

Buyer falsely states that the item is defective and when item was returned I put batteries in it and it 100% works perfectly. I refunded the shipping. How do I get the sipping costs back?

REPORT the buyer for abuse of the ebay MBG.

Then after you report the buyer you appeal the case:

You can report the buyer for abusing the MBG. While you're at it, you can report yourself for violating the feedback policy.
