Dishonest buyer. eBay not protecting seller
I sold an item. Properly listed with all relevant information. Buyer purchased item believing the item was an upgraded version( which my post did NOT mislead in ANYway). Once received, the buyer stated the item was damaged(which it was not) and filed for a return. I don’t accept returns as I don’t sell on eBay as a business. I sell to get rid of things. Anyways, the buyer said it was damaged when in reality, he made the purchase and has buyers remorse. eBay is making accept the return even though I have everything listed accurately and the buyer is lying. They reviewed our messages where is shows and he admitted the item is not damaged.
why is eBay FORCING me to take the return. I’m going to loose out on money via shipping.
I spoke to eBay official the day the return was requested and they told me I was in the right and not to accept the return. Now it’s being g forced on me and saying I have to take it even those the buy is lying and they see the proof.
what other options do i have?
I talked to eBay on the phone 3 times now.
