Disgruntld eBay seller, are there others?

Question

First eBay takes almost 25% of your selling price, then they hold payments, sellers seem to take the brunt of eBay's abuse. Is it all worth it if you are not a large volume seller? Can you suggest other sites where sellers are more respected?

" First eBay takes almost 25% of your selling price . . . ." The highest Final Value Fee (FVF) percentage on eBay.com is 15.3%, for the Books and Magazines category. The FVF percentage is charged on the Total Paid by Your Buyer, which probably includes some sales taxes and shipping costs as well as the price you are asking for the Item. "Is it all worth it if you are not a large volume seller?" Each eBay seller, large volume or small volume, must make that decision for himself or herself.
