Discouraged Seller
I just sent a refund for a piece of paper currency that I shipped using eBay standard envelope for items under $20. I download the labels for these envelopes and they include a tracking #. I just refunded a purchase that, according to the tracking number, was shipped but never delivered. I took a minute to follow several other recently shipped items and found similar items that are marked shipped but never marked delivered. What's going on with this?
I just got back from the local Post Office to send a different eBay item with label printed for eBay standard envelope and I questioned the postal worker about what should I do as a seller to make sure items are delivered and marked as such She very curtly said put it in this and brought out an envelope that cost $10.10. That's more than what I was paid for the item.
This is discouraging to me as a seller. I want to make sure that everyone gets their purchase, but at this rate, it's a losing side hustle. Any help/suggestions.
