discount in shipping charge with multiple purchase from a seller in a single transaction

Question

I would like to ask is there any discount in the shipping charge if i buy more than one item from a seller in a single transaction.

It seems that I don't get any discount at my check out so I put my transaction on hold. Anyone have any idea?

-It depends on the Seller

-Some offer Combined shipping and if they do not require immediate payment you can request an updated total ... the Seller can then adjust the shipping and handling cost on an invoice and send it back for payment

-Some Sellers are clueless on shipping so may not even understand the combined shipping concept.

-Some Sellers us shipping as an additional profit center

-Some Sellers refund the shipping overage on a multiple purchase once the have the final weight and dimensions of the box the items will ship in.
