Disappointed with eBay fees
Summary: sanfrancoins expressed frustration with eBay's increasing fees, particularly the charges on shipping and taxes, which they find unjustifiable. They believe successful companies, especially those with a near monopoly like eBay, should reduce prices as they grow, rather than increase them. sanfrancoins shares a sentiment of disappointment in eBay's financial practices.
I first discovered eBay in November 1995 and I have to say that I get increasing disappointed with eBay's financial greed and ever increasing fees. My latest frustration is at having to pay sellers' final value fees on Shipping and Taxes, fees that I make no money on.
In my opinion software-based companies should seek to lower prices as growth gives them the ability to deliver more value for less, especially near monopolies like eBay.
With great success comes great responsibility.
eBay, you disappoint.

Mentor1 week agoeBay has been charging its final value fee on the total amount paid by the buyer for a long time. It has been this way since before I began selling. The eBay fee has been relatively similar for the last few years with just minor increases.
