Disagreement with buyer

Question

I sold an item to another member and was asked if there was any damage or scratches to which I told him the truth and told him that there was a scratch on a lens but did not seem to bad to which he still purchased my item. Now that he has the item he is complaining about the scratch and he is being kind of rude what can I do?

He is probably waiting for you to offer a partial refund, which you are not obligated to do. Just tell him to return the item for a refund. If he opens a return request, accept it if you want the item back before refunding.
